Grade Requirements and Expectations

Nursing students are required to make at least 80% as a "C" in all required courses. Students earning “D” or below must repeat the theory, lab, and/or clinical components for the course.

NURSING PROGRAM GRADING SCALE

A= 94-100%
B= 87-93%
C= 80-86%
D= 66-79%
F= 0-65%

A 79.99% is considered failing.

Final grades are calculated without rounding.

This policy is applied uniformly to all students and is non-negotiable.

LATE ASSIGNMENTS

Written work must be satisfactorily completed and on time. Late assignments will not be accepted and will result in a ZERO.

EXTRA CREDIT

Under no circumstance can the instructor issue extra credit for any nursing assignment or course.
