IV Therapy Certification

IV therapy training and certification is integrated into the Nursing Care of the Adult I course. This competency is a mandatory component of the course and is not graded separately.

Failure to complete the IV certification competency will result in failure of the Nursing Care of the Adult I course.
Students who do not complete the competency must retake both the course and clinical components in their entirety.
Students are responsible for ensuring they meet competency requirements within the designated timeframe.
