PB 230 Public Health Communication
Public Health Communication is a multidisciplinary field of study and practice that applies communication evidence, strategy, theory, and creativity to promote behaviors, policies, and practices that advance the health and well-being of people and populations. Communication is at the heart of who we are as human beings as it is our primary method of exchanging information and signifying symbolic capability. Health communication is influenced by culture, media, health campaigns, community resources, public policy, and technology.
