Accountability and Violations - Students

All disciplinary matters of concern regarding nursing students should be reported by faculty and staff to the Director of Nursing who will pass the information on to the Donnelly Nursing Oversite Committee. This committee will review and manage all student disciplinary situations that are reported.

The Nursing Oversite Committee Purpose – to meet when needed to discuss student disciplinary situations and make decisions for actions that will be documented, tracked, consistent and fair. This committee includes 3 full-time nursing faculty and reports to the Director of Nursing.

Student situations for the Oversite Committee can include;

Clinic location complaints
Simulation lab complaints
AI misuse
Any form of cheating
Other student incidents
