Undeclared Major

For various reasons it may be impossible or inappropriate for a student to declare a major. All students will receive advisement in the area most closely related to their interests and abilities. An individual who has not yet selected a major may enroll in general education courses under Liberal & Sciences as Undeclared. Students who are “Degree-Seeking Undeclared” will not be audited for graduation and may take longer to earn a degree or certificate based on a declaration of a major. Each semester, the student will reevaluate with their advisor and will update their major if they choose. Students who have left and wish to return should follow the readmission policy.
