TEXTBOOKS:
Textbooks for faculty
Faculty textbooks are obtained by requesting a desk copy from the publisher. Upon leaving the college, desk copy textbooks used in the program remain the property of Donnelly College.
Copies of select textbook images, graphs or grids may be helpful for students. Do not make copies of other textbook contents.
Faculty has access to:
CANVAS an on-line LMS (Learning Management System) that also contains textbooks
CENGAGE - accessed within CANVAS, contains textbooks, reviews, eBooks, training courses and an electronic homework platform (homework must be proactively prepared)
NOTE: CANVAS & CENGAGE contain text and learning guides for Liberal Arts & Sciences.
Student Textbook Options
Student textbooks are recommended. Other sources of classroom information for students to study can be videos, simulations, labs, lecture notes, and PowerPoint presentations that can be emailed to students. CANVAS can also contain additional educational information that students can access.

NOTE: It is important that students are encouraged to be responsible to take notes and later create flashcards/notecards to use as a study tool for exams.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Exams and assignments can only include information that was presented, or outlined in class. Written information from faculty is best to support what was covered in class.
Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act
Title III ADA is a federal regulation that requires private colleges, to provide equal access and opportunity for students with disabilities. This includes providing reasonable accommodations, auxiliary aids and services, and accessible facilities, both physical and virtual, to ensure students with disabilities can fully participate in all aspects of college life.
CENGAGE provides eBooks and closed caption options. Microsoft TEAMS can be used to record classes and allows faculty to setup shared access with students who require an audio or video option of each class.
