General Requirements

The minimum number of credit hours for a certificate program is thirty (30) and a grade of at least C is required in each course. Credits in certificate programs are applicable to an associate degree in a related area. Students must declare the intention to earn a certificate when they register and apply for the certificate with the Registrar after requirements have been completed.

Program Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of the Certificate in Information Technology students will demonstrate:

  1. Comprehensive understanding of computer software and languages. 
  2. The integration of emerging technology trends, practices, and products. 
  3. Ethical considerations when implementing technical skills and methods to solve problems.
