EN 204 Environmental Ethics

This course examines theories of ethical frameworks for thinking about, using, and protecting the natural world. It introduces students to the history of ecological ideas, environmental movements, nature and literature, nature and theology, and environmental justice and rights. Through this interdisciplinary perspective, we want students to think creatively and knowledgeably about their environmental responsibilities and to be good stewards of creation. This class has a service-learning component. (Cross-listed SC 204)
