Introduction

The Donnelly College Faculty Credentials Manual is designed to guide the institution in ensuring that qualifications of all faculty members are in compliance with faculty requirements and guidelines of the Higher Learning Commission (HLC). The purpose of this manual is twofold: (1) it identifies the academic qualifications required of faculty to teach courses in each discipline and program offered by the College; and (2) it outlines the process for approving individuals to teach courses based on alternative (or experiential) qualifications.
