Acceptable Use of Technology

Donnelly College provides technology resources in order to advance the College’s mission and to meet the educational and professional needs of students, faculty, and staff. Accounts and passwords may not be shared with, or used by, persons other than those to whom they have been assigned by the College. The network may not be used in any manner prohibited by federal, state, or local law or disallowed by contracts and licenses. The use of the computing systems to harass or threaten others  may result in the suspension of computing privileges as well as disciplinary action by the College. Users should be aware that their use of computing resources may not be completely private. Accounts are disabled after students graduate or withdraw from the College.

Alcohol and Drugs

The College works with students and employees to access support services when their use of alcohol or other drugs is cause for concern. Support services include alcohol and drug abuse prevention education programs, intervention, and therapeutic methods, all with the goal of reducing the harmful influence of alcohol and other drugs. The College especially encourages its students to develop responsible attitudes and behaviors as they prepare to enter a world in which alcohol is used. See the College Catalog for more details on campus alcohol and drug policies.
