REPRESENTATION & STUDENT GOVERNANCE

The Student Nurses' Association (SNA) at Donnelly College is an affiliate of the National Student Nurses' Association (NSNA), a nonprofit organization established in 1952 to mentor nursing students preparing for initial licensure and to promote professional development. The NSNA's mission is to mentor students preparing for initial licensure as registered nurses and to convey the standards, ethics, and skills that students will need as responsible and accountable leaders and members of the profession. All students will have the opportunity to participate.

At the beginning of the semester, Nursing Student Representatives will be selected, to be participating members of The Nursing Program Committee of Donnelly College, by their respective classes. One student from each nursing course will be a member with voting rights within the framework described in the Nursing Department by-laws. Each student representative will be requested to be a member of the standing committee.
