NU 310 Health Care Delivery Systems
This course introduces Baccalaureate nursing students to health delivery systems including purpose, functions, staffing and organization. Additional topics include an overview of accreditation standards, licensure agencies, reimbursement policy, legal and ethical issues, documentation, compliance, and regulatory requirements. Trends in health care policy, non-profit vs for-profit will also be discussed.
